Government forces resorted to aerial firing after they came under stone pelting on Wednesday morning in Pinjura village of Shopian district in South Kashmir. Local sources said that soon after some army ‘caspers’ passed through the area, local youth started pelting stones on them. They added that forces resorted to aerial firing to disperse the youth who were pelting stpnes. Eyewitnesses said that forces later damaged windowpanes and glasses of some houses and vehicles. A police official said that they don't have any information about the incident however they are ascertaining the facts. More details are awaited.
